Gail Webster is a Professor of Chemistry at Guilford College in Greensboro, N.C. She began using POGIL pedagogy in her general chemistry classes in 2004 and worked with her colleagues in the Department of Chemistry to transition their curriculum to student-centered active learning. She has authored POGIL activities for general chemistry and developed labs for the SPIRAL (Strengthening the use of Process, Inquiry, Reflection and Application in the Laboratory) team. Gail has been a facilitator for The POGIL Project since 2006 and served as chair of the Steering Committee.
