Marcy manages and coordinates Project activities at the National Office. She works with The Project Director and Project groups to develop and implement current and future plans. In addition, she oversees The Project Inquirer newsletter, and is the primary contact for matters pertaining to the Steering Committee. She has spent more than 25 years in higher education, working in various capacities including sports information, public relations, and as Director of the Clemente Course in the Humanities at Franklin & Marshall College.

She earned her B.S. with distinction from Cornell University, where she majored in communications, and  her M.A. in community-based education from Stevenson University. Marcy has also worked as a photographer and freelance writer, and was the co-founder of the groundbreaking website College Lacrosse USA, which was purchased by Conde Nast in 2000. She has also taught courses in science writing and introductory photography. 

She currently serves as the managing editor for Science Education and Civic Engagement: An International Journal, www.seceij.net, a publication of the National Center for Science and Civic Engagement. She is also active in local politics, her synagogue, Congregation Shaarai Shomayim, and serves on the boards of Jewish Family Service of Lancaster and the Lancaster Center for Classical Studies.
